Helps you apply your knowledge to applicable lab simulations. This really helped me understand how what we learned is applied in the real world.

Touchstones take way too long to be graded
by Lori B. on August 27, 2026
In the beginning of this course, I struggled. However, I was determined to understand and retain the information so that I could pass this class. I learned a lot about community and public health. I really enjoyed taking this course.

cool
by Michael I. on August 27, 2026
This course was VERY DIFFICULT for me because of the 5 pages of instructions for the touchstone power-point, which i believe was over-complicated and difficult to understand. HOWEVER... the course work itself was good and challenging. The final grader Olympia graded fairly but I think that a more simplified touch-stone or none at all, would've been better. The concepts are easy to grasp but whenever subjective grading is thrown into the mix, this can be problematic. PLUS there are no rewards for outstanding creativity in the power-point.

The quizzes and test were quite easy for me but the touchstones were a lot. Overall the course was informative.
