Reviews

Our students love the freedom, flexibility and support we offer. See what they're saying about Sophia's courses.

by Joshua B. on August 24, 2026
The focus on this was very biased and some of the "in context" examples could barely qualify as an opinion piece or "story" on a news publication. At some point you have to wonder if the writers are truly that ignorant, or willfully obtuse. They didn't even try to hide it, the verbiage reads as persuasive. If this were handed in for an essay that was say compare contrast or one with opinion language excluded, they would have failed their own curriculum.

ok
by Taylor D. on August 24, 2026
Really feels like a class a visual teacher would help in especially with all the math. Quick course though.
by Sitina Y. on August 24, 2026
I enjoyed this course and my experience with Sophia Learning very much. I particularly appreciate the flexibility of studying and reading the lessons at my pace, whenever I have time.
by Chrisaixa C. on August 24, 2026
Lab was great, sometimes the cursor of the mouse in the lab appears sightly off, so just be sure to only hit select when what you want to select is illuminated on screen.
by Emily H. on August 24, 2026
The courses content's was good, but hampered by technical glitches over and over. These delays cause more focus on fixing issues over learning.
by Asia C. on August 24, 2026
Very informative

The course is short and straightforward, but it took me a while to complete. I’d say maybe 2-3 weeks. Personally, I find law to be interesting so I took longer with the course to understand and analyze legal concepts. The Touchstone mainly focuses on contract formation. After I completely read all the chapters, I went back to revisit the contract unit. The second attempt helped my comprehension and retention, which made the Touchstone fun. Anyway, the course made me wiser and I’d retake it!
